Species not studied in the present work. Body and legs are uniformly pale, except antennal segments IV-VIII which are brown. The head bears two pairs of very long and fringed setae and the antennae have 8 segments.

Genus and similar species information
This genus comprises two species, both described from the Neotropics, and possibly related to Corynothrips and Rhabdothrips (Mound & Marullo 1996). Coremothrips nubilicus was described from Brazil and can be distinguished from C. pallidus by the 8-segmented antennae.
